The Advanced Sport Massage Course

• This 2 day course is ideal for Massage Therapists, Sport Physiotherapists, Athletic Therapists and Sport Chiropractors who would like to improve their knowledge and skills of working with athletes in any environment. It will provide participants with Sport Massage theory and practical techniques that can be utilized at sporting events, with athletic teams, or in their own clinic setting. The knowledge and practical experience that participants will gain would be of great benefit for anyone working with athletes at any level including those who will be working with athletes at any Major Games or Olympic Games.

NOTE:  This is the course CSMTA members require for their Sport Fellow certification. 

This course is offered periodically throughout the year across the country.  Members wishing credit for this course for certification must take the 2 day course.  A one-day version of this course is offered to other allied sport practitioners which include Sport Physiotherapists, Sport Chiropractors, Sport Medical Doctors and Certified Athletic Therapists interested in advancing their Sport Massage knowledge                       and practical skills.  

Participants will be given handouts 1 week prior to the course for pre-reading.

Participants will also be sent a ebook copy of Sport Massage Theory and Techniques for the Massage Therapist for more in-depth    information about Sport Massage.

COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received more than 7 days before the course date will receive a full refund.  Cancellations received 7-days prior to the course date will receive a refund minus an administration fee of $50.00. Non-attendance at a course or cancellations received with less than 7-days notice will not be eligible for a refund.
